Try reading your own writing as if you have never seen it before. To get the hang of it, you might have to put your writing aside for a few hours before coming back to read it. Then your spelling errors should be more obvious. (No, I won't point out the spelling errors in your post. ;-))

Today I heard a advertisement for Dick DeVos a candidate for governor of Michigan he is a business man and should know that what he said although it is factually right is vary misleading. He said that gas companies are making more money because the gas prices are higher well that is right but what he failed to say was the real reason that gas prices are higher is the lack of refining ability and the rules that the government has passed on the gas companies.
