Tomorrow the 2007-08 NHL season starts it should be a good one. The first two games will be played in London England between the Ducks (Defending Stanly Cup Champions) and Kings. Here is how I think the teams will finish. East 1. Pittsburgh 2. Ottawa 3. Atlanta 4. NY Rangers 5. Buffalo 6. New Jersey 7. Toronto 8. Florida 9. Montreal 10. NY Islanders 11. Carolina 12. Tampa Bay 13. Philadelphia 14. Washington 15. Boston
Last night the Red Wings had a valiant effort in the third period but that was the problem it was only in the third period they came in down three and went out down one after out scoring the Ducks 3-1 in the third and out shooting them 16-3.
Well no I shall make my prediction for the: 2007 STANLY CUP FINALS #2 Anaheim vs. #4 Ottawa I think Anaheim will win in 6 games. The computer says Ottawa in 6 games.
The Calgary Flames are a disgrace to hockey and should get what they deserve today there backup goalie played 18 seconds late in third with the game out of reach and manged to pick up 17 minutes in penalty's 15 of them for a cheap shot on a Red Wing player. He sould get suspended for at least 1 game also the coach should get a one game suspension for that.
Time for my NHL playoff picks I will see if I can pick better then a computer program which I created.
2007 EASTERN CONFERENCE QUARTERFINALS #1 Buffalo vs. #8 NY Islanders I think Buffalo will win this series in 4 games. The computer says Buffalo in 6. #2 New Jersey vs. #7 Tampa Bay I think New Jersey will win in 6.
Aparently people jumped to some conclusions about my last post maybe this is how it should have looked. Well today I played a street hockey game that was interupted by a quick swim that water was coled bur. But I did not mind to much. What I learned from iut don't play hokey when it is 45° and there is still some snow on the ground unless you plan on going swimming. Yes I did fall in I could not stop fast enough so I went sailing into the ditch wich had snow in parts and water in other parts, the watter was about 4" deep.
